Suantrai (Celtic lullaby)
Margie Butler

Seóthín, seóthó, mo stóirín, mo leanbh,
Mo sheoid gan chealg, mo chuid den tsaol mhór.
Seóthín, seóthó, nach mór é a taithneamh,
Mo stóirín ina leaba, ‘na chodladh gan brón.
A leanbh mo chléibh, go n-éiri do chodladh leat,
Séan agus sonas a choice ‘do chomhair.
Seo beannacht Mhic Dé agus téagar a Bhuime leat.
Téir a chodladh gan bíogadh go ló.

Ar mhullach a tSí tá síoga geala,
Fá chaoinré an earraigh ag imirt a spóirt
Seo iad aniar chun glaoch ar mo leanbh
Le mian é a tharraing isteach sa Lios Mór.
Goirm thú, a chroí! Ní bhfaighidh said do mhealladh
Le brí a gcleas, ná le binneas a gceol.
Tá mise led’ thaobh ag guí ort na mbeannacht,
Seóthín, a leanbh, ní imeoidh tú leo.

Os comhair mo lao go míochair ceanúil,
Tá dílroisc aingeal ag faire ina threo,
Le mórghrá dian á’ iarraidh chun bealaigh
Mar b’aoibhne Flaithis dá rachadh sé leo.
A stór mo chroí, luigh siar i do leaba,
Le taobh do mhama is ea fhanfair go fóill.
Ní mór liom ag Día mo shiamsa ‘gus m’aiteas,
Mo ríocht ar talamh i dteannta mo bhróid.

French lullaby
The World Lullabies

L´etait une petite poule grise
Qu´allait pondre dans l´église
(Elle) pondait un petit coco
Que l´enfant mangeait tout chaud

L'etait une poule noire
Qu'allait pondre dans l'armoire
(Elle) pondait un petit coco
Que l'enfant mangeait tout chaud

L'etait un petite poule blanche
Qu'allait pondre dans la grange
(Elle) pondait un petit coco
Que l´enfant mangeait tout chaud

L´était un petite poule rousse
Qu´allait pondre dans la mousse.
Pondait un petit coco
Que l´enfant mangeait tout chaud

L´était une petite poule brune
Qu´allait pondre dans la lune.
Pondait un petit coco
Que l´enfant mangeait tout chaud

(L´etait une poule jaune
Qu´allait pondre dans le chaume
(Elle) pondait un petit coco
Que l´enfant mangeait tout chaud)

Alexandre Beetle
Jackie Oates

I found a little beetle, so that beetle was his name,
And I called him Alexander and he answered just the same.
I put him in a matchbox, and I kept him all the day...
And Nanny let my beetle out
Yes, Nanny let my beetle out
She went and let my beetle out-
And beetle ran away.

She said she didn't mean it, and I never sauid she did,
She said she wanted matches, and she just took off the lid
She said that she was sorry, but it's difficult to catch
An excited sort of beetle you've mistaken for a match.

She said that she was sorry, and I really mustn't mind
As there's lots and lots of beetles which she's certain we could find
If we looked about the garden for the holes where beetles hid-
And we'd get another matchbox, and write BEETLE on the lid.

We went to all the places which a beetle might be near,
And we made the sort of noises which a beetle likes to hear,
And I saw a kind of something, and I gave a sort of shout:
"A beetle-house and Alexander Beetle coming out!"

It was Alexander Beetle I'm as certain as can be
And he had a sort of look as if he thought it might be ME,
And he had a kind of look as if he thought he ought to say:
"I'm very, very sorry that I tried to run away."

And Nanny's very sorry too, for you know what she did,
And she's writing ALEXANDER very blackly on the lid,
So Nan and me are friends, because it's difficult to catch
An excited Alexander you've mistaken for a match

Song of the Sea
Nolwenn Leroy

[Verse 1]
Hush now, my Storeen
Close your eyes and sleep
Waltzing the waves
Diving the deep
Stars are shining bright
The wind is on the rise
Whispering words of long lost lullabies

[Chorus]
Oh, won't you come with me?
Where the moon is made of gold
And in the morning sun
We'll be sailing
Oh, won't you come with me?
Where the ocean meets the sky
And as the clouds roll by
We'll sing the song of the sea

[Verse 2]
I had a dream last night
And heard the sweetest sound
I saw a great white light and dancers in the round
Castles in the sand
Cradles in the trees
Don't cry, I'll see you by and by

Byssan Lull
Swedish lullaby

Byssan lull, koka kittelen full,

där kommer tre vandringsmän på vägen.
Den ene, ack så halt,
den andre, o så blind,
den tredje säger alls ingenting.

Byssan lull, koka kittelen full,
där blåser tre vindar på haven,
på Stora ocean,
på lilla Skagerack
och långt upp i Bottniska viken.

Byssan lull, koka kittelen full,
där segla tre skutor på vågen.
Den första är en bark,
den andra är en brigg,
den tredje har så trasiga segel.

Byssan lull, koka kittelen full,
sjökistan har trenne figurer.
Den första är vår tro,
den andra är vårt hopp,
den tredje är kärleken, den röda.

Byssan lull, koka kittelen full,
tre äro tingena de goda.
Den första är Gud Far,
den andra är hans Son,
den tredje mild Jungfru Maria.

Szerelem, Szerelem (OST The English Patient)
Márta Sebestyén

Szerelem, szerelem,
átkozott gyötrelem,
mért nem virágoztál
minden fatetejen?

Minden fa tetején,
diófa levelén.
úgy szaki^sztott volna
minden leány s legény.

Mer én is szaki^sztottam
s el is szalasztottam.
én is szaki^sztottam
s el is szalasztottam.

Hej de még szaki^sztanék
ha jóra találnék
ha jóra, ha szépre
régi szeretö^mre.

S a régi szeretö^mért
mit nem cselekedném?
Tengerbö^l a vizet
kanállal lemerném.

S a tenger fenekérö^l
apró gyöngyöt szednék
s a régi szeretö^mnek
gyöngykoszorút kötnék.

Alexia's Lullaby (OST Resident Evil)
Takeshi Miura

There was a friendly, but naive King,
Who wed a very nasty Queen.
The King was loved but,
the Queen was feared.
Til one day, strolling in his court,
an arrow pierced the kind King's heart.
He lost his life and his Lady love.

Castle Of Dromore
Brigit Well

The October winds lament
around the castle of Dromore
Yet peace is in her lofty halls
My loving treasure store

Though Autumn leaves may droop and die
a bud of spring are you sing hush-a-by
loo,la-lo,la lan
sing hush-a-by loo la lo

Bring no ill will to hinder us
my helpless babe and me dread spirits
of the blackwater clan owen's wild banshee
and Holy Mary pitying us in Heaven
for grace doth sue sing hush-a-by
loo,la-lo,la lan sing hush-a-by loo la lo

Take time to thrive my ray of hope
in the garden of Dromore
Take heed young eaglet
till thy wings are feathered fit to soar
a little rest and then the world
is full of work to do
sing hush-a-by loo,
la-lo,la lan sing hush-a-by loo la lo

Rock A Bye Baby
LittleBabyBum

Rock-a-bye, baby
On the treetop
When the wind blows
The cradle will rock
If the bough breaks
The cradle will fall
But mama will catch you
Cradle and all

Baby is drowsing
Cozy and fair
Mother sits near
In her rocking chair
Forward and back
The cradle she swings
And though baby sleeps
He hears what she sings

Hush a bye baby
Up in the sky
On a soft cloud
it’s easy to fly
Angels keep watch
Over as you sleep
So hush a bye baby
Don’t make a peep

Rock a bye baby
Do not you fear
Never mind baby
Mother is near
Wee little fingers
Eyes are shut tight
Now sound asleep
Until morning light

Kidzup, Kiboomu
Baa, baa, black sheep
Have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir, three bags full.
One for the master,
And one for the dame,
